Big Change

This pic exemplifies my life right now. At 54, I'm looking ahead at what could be / should be. The fence is official retirement, and then... everything beyond.
Right now, I'm focused on the space before the fence, which shows I've got to work smarter because I have been working harder than I have at any other point in my life. I'm sore. Exhausted.
So...I'm not out of the hustle and bustle, the fray of jockeying for position to move the great machine forward. I understand that now as I work my fun, little part-time jobs for minimal pay and no benefits other than the freedom to move around.
This won't move me forward.
It's time to get career-minded again. (Or at least I think it is.) I've got investments and repairs I want to make. My fun, little jobs don't give enough do-ray-me to accomplish those goals.
So this spring, I went on Fiverr and paid someone to give me a resume and curriculum vitae upgrade. I took their product and tweaked it some more. I sent it out to several places. Then, I had some interviews and donned the most professional clothing I own. Then, one of the colleges called me back for a teaching demonstration. I wore the same outfit I wore to the resort interview in Havasu last year. The next day, I got an offer of employment.
So...now it comes down to moving...and repairing...vehicles. If I'm going to live in my RV through a Colorado winter, I need to replace the broken refrigerator and upgrade the on-board propane tank. I was told in 2019 that it needed to be replaced, but it still worked, sooooo...yeah. Here we are now. The place where I can park the RV has full hook-ups, including a 100-pound tank of propane to see me through winter. Gotta get that on-board propane tank replaced before all that pro-pressure is hooked to it and runs through it! The fridge (as you know) has also died. (There's also issues with the furnace that I won't mention here, beyond saying that since the remodel in 2020, it's been having serious issues.)
I have to give an answer to this college on Monday. I'm 97% certain I'll take the job if I can figure out how to move and repair vehicles.

God’s got you! It will all work out!
