On Saturday, I worked until 4:15, hurried from the store, packed up the RV, said farewells to friends who've become family, and hit the road northward. I'm starting a new job soon, and I have a little over a week to get there.

I made it to the dunes of the Catfish Paradise area as the sun turned orange. Working in the dim light, I re-organized the RV for "travel mode" by better-securing everything that had shifted on this short drive.

This morning as I pulled off Polaris Dirt Road, the brake light lit up, despite not having the E-brake on. I even pulled over, set the E-brake, released it, and...the light was still lit. It did this one other time a few months ago. The light eventually went off on its own.

The engine keeps riding hot, too. I thought the new water pump and reconditioned radiator would have fixed this.

Guess not.

So....just south of Bullhead, I stopped for gas at the Walmart. They've got the best gas prices in the area, better by about 15-cents than prices on the reservation.

The gas pump kept clicking off, despite the tank only being half full. Gas even spilled out as I tried forcing it to go in.

So now I'm on the side of the road near the Walmart, letting the engine cool. I've probably got a vapor lock from the hot engine or something. I'll try to get gas again when the engine cools.
