To write of this month-long summer trip from Arizona -- through Escalante, Torrey, Hovenweep, Wolf Creek Pass, Salida, Buena Vista, Limon, the Flint Rock HIlls, Kansas City, Columbia -- to Saint Charles, Missouri...would take a book.

Suffice it to say, the time spent with family and friends is everything they say it is...and then some. Special shout outs to friends: Della for the campfire and Kirk for the Starbucks chat! And family...wonderful times dress shopping with my daughters and dining with the soon-to-be in-laws...and the ex-husband outlaw.

I'm back in Arizona now. And it's hot. Soooooooo hot.

From the moment I left Lake Havasu City until the moment I returned, I traveled 6,435.2 miles. Pictured below are some scenes from the trip...

What an epic adventure you've had ! Sounds like it was amazing on multiple levels. Welcome back to your happy place in AZ. Hope you can find ways to handle the heat until the season winds down. (((Hugs))) Beautiful pics, too.
