"Just because you want to show him the dam does not mean you can obstruct traffic."

Just because I wanted to show Larry the Hoover Dam, I dropped him off on the west end of the dam and had him walk across it for the experience. I would circle back and pick him up.

Only I did that in front of a U. S. Ranger.

And got pulled over.

Apparently, my stop...with no cars behind me and none in front...obstructed traffic. I also pulled away before my passenger was fully seat belted.

I apologized for racing away Dukes of Hazzard style.

Thank God I got away with a warning.
