Hummingbirds & Billiards

It happed again while Brenda and Frank were visiting: a hummingbird flew through the open door and into the hotel lobby. When he tired himself out, I scooped him up, brought him back outside, and released him.

While I worked, Brenda and Frank took off on other sightseeing adventures up and over Hogback Ridge, over the mountain, and on to Capitol Reef. Later that night, we went to the pub and shot pool.

The sharp-shooter award went to Frank that evening. He cleared all our balls off the table during a game of Cutthroat. Brenda and I were having too much fun laughing and being silly.

We went out each of the three nights they were here, and by the end of the weekend, we determined we'd practice our billiard game a little more and have a Cutthroat rematch in Arizona this winter.

While they drove up to Escalante in two vehicles, they left together in one vehicle because...

They brought back the Xterra! This was the car I sold to Brenda in April. Since the Jeep didn't work out, she determined to sell it back to me!!! I am soooooo blessed to have such amazing friends in my life!
