Fortunately, I have a good friend--nay, a great friend!--with a landscaping business. I asked her if while visiting BV I could do some work for her to offset the high cost of gas prices. She gave me this yard to work on. Essentially, it's a clean-up job: pulling tumbleweeds, cleaning pine cones and needles, clearing dead branches from the bushes, and getting the front flower garden cleaned and weeded.
I worked there for several hours and then returned to the RV to grade papers. I had trouble accessing the internet from town, so I parked behind the Love's station and worked there until I could no longer keep my eyes open.
I fell asleep to the sound of engines and truck noises.

What we’ll do for a buck! I wish you didn’t have to spend all of your free time grading papers. The students are lucky to have you. The weather sounds pleasant at least?
