be UTAH ful

I'm cheating tonight by copying and pasting a text message I sent to my daughter. It's a response to her announcement about being gifted Blues tickets for tonight's game.

The message is this:

This was my day... Utah, Utah, Utah!

I really love that state! You can see why in the pics!

I started my morning at 6:15 and was out in the canyons by seven. I found a cool new rock hounding site with red agate or jasper. Petrified wood, too!

Then, I drove though Capital Reef as the sun rose.

I met a friend in Torrey for tea and toast. Then, on to the vet by 10:30.

I had my second interview at [redacted].

Then I got on the road and drove, drove, drove through the canyon, over the mountain, onto the highway, through the gorge, and onto the Mojave Desert, through Vegas on the Boulder Highway, and down through the darkness to Searchlight, Needles, and... finally...Lake Havasu City.

I'm exhausted! Going to sleep! Good night!
